จากข้อมูลพบว่า หากคนไร้บ้านหรือกลุ่มเปราะบางที่มีรายได้เพียงพอระดับนึงสามารถแบกรับค่าใช้จ่ายเพื่อการอยู่อาศัยรายวันราคาถูกได้ หรือคิดเป็นห้องเช่ารายเดือนประมาณ 1,000-1,500 บาท ทั้งนี้พบว่ามีห้องเช่าราคาถูกที่ดัดแปลงอาคารเก่า หรืออยู่ตามชุมชน ตรอกซอกซอยในพื้นที่เมืองจำนวนมาก

ดังนั้น กทม.จะดำเนินการออกสำรวจและจัดทำฐานข้อมูลห้องเช่าราคาถูกในเมือง (housing stock) ร่วมกับสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ภายใต้ระเบียบกฎหมายที่ กทม. ดูแลรับผิดชอบ เช่น การดัดแปลงปรับปรุงอาคาร การจัดทำฐานข้อมูลชุมชน การจัดทำแผนที่ภาษีโรงเรือนและสิ่งปลูกสร้าง

การพัฒนาฐานข้อมูลห้องเช่าราคาถูกมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเป็นข้อมูลประชาสัมพันธ์ให้ผู้มีรายได้น้อย รวมถึงเป็นตัวเลือกให้คนไร้บ้านที่ต้องการที่อยู่อาศัยราคาถูกด้วย

According to the information, homeless people or vulnerable groups with sufficient income can afford cheap daily living, or a monthly room rent of about THB 1,000-1,500. It is found that there are many low-priced rental rooms in converted old buildings, communities and small alleys in the urban areas.

The BMA plans to conduct a survey and to create a database of low-priced rental rooms in the city (housing stock) in cooperation with district offices and relevant agencies.

This development of database of low-priced rental rooms aims to support the repatriation of homeless people as well as to serve as information pool for low-income city people.
